Introduction To DarkShield and Crypto Gaming
The DeFi ecosystem has been growing since its boom in late 2020 when Decentralized Finance popularly known as DeFi became the talk of Crypto twitter and by extension crypto world. The decentralized system grew along with every other protocol that had the word defi to it, Decentralized exchanges such as Uniswap took over and shook the exchange market even giving Centralized systems a tough time to operate. Investors both large and small, retain and institutional shifted focus from centralized systems to decentralized protocols. Individuals were clearly educated on how much easier it was to just connect wallets to the smart contracts and approve transactions absent registrations and KYCs. Then came the era of High/large cap coins, tokens that amounted to trillions in total supply and possibly circulating supply, we had the examples of Safemoon, Shiba inu and Dogecoin etc.
If there is one thing that is constant in crypto, it is the fact that trends are never constant and continue changing due to a lot of contributing factors.
And now, we are in the era of NFT and Games. The crypto gaming sector has had an increasing amount of demand and even in a record by @dantwany on twitter, one of the research personels at TheBlock, it is shown that VCs invested nearly 41% on gaming projects alone in September.
What are Crypto Games and how are they Different?
Crypto games are simply games built on Blockchain technology that enables its users to play and earn crypto. It provides an avenue where both investors and gamers with skills could use those skills to earn revenue, they get to earn items such as weapons, game characters which are monetized, meaning that they can sell them off for crypto which is then converted to fiat. Gamers around the globe now have the opportunity to Play-To-Earn rewards in the underlying asset.
